amulet's role

Create playful illustrations that would smoothly integrate with the rest of the branding package. A number of different subjects were created, including variations on the McRib, a fountain soda cup, fries, a phone in hand, and abstracted app interfaces.

The problem

The branding package was missing additional visual elements and accents for their posts. Not only, these illustrations were needed within 8 working days.

The solution

Create vector graphics that were subtly playful takes on their real counterparts.

The process

• Sketch each of subject on paper by studying a reference image
• Upload and trace sketches in Adobe Illustrator
• Finalize shapes and colors
• Submit the first draft for approval
• Make additional edits based on the feedback
• Ensure all points, lines, and curves were as minimal and "cleaned up" as possible – meaning, no one path had more vector points than necessary

Summary

Local franchisee owners have the power of social platforms at their fingertips. Since crafting an online presence may not always come naturally (or be a possibility in the midst of managing a business), the brand was interested in creating a go-to branding package that owners could use.
